We teach Ballroom and Latin dancing to adults of all ages. Our beginners classes are aimed at people with no dancing experience. You have probably seen most of these styles danced on Strictly Come Dancing.
If you have danced some Ballroom and Latin before, please contact us and we can point you towards one of our higher level classes.
We teach Waltz, Quickstep, Rhythm Foxtrot, Cha Cha Cha, Samba and Jive at our weekly beginners classes. As you progress, we introduce Rumba, Tango, Slow Foxtrot and Viennese Waltz in our higher level classes.
We hold our Friday dances in the main hall which has a huge floor. There is also a bar at the venue selling soft drinks with very reasonable prices. However, please feel free to BRING YOUR OWN ALCOHOLIC DRINKS and bottled water. Please support the bar if possible as bar custom helps support the centre and ensures we are welcome guests in the future.
We do not hold any classes at this venue, only the monthly social dances.
There is a good size car park at the Greenway and parking is not a problem.
You can get into the Greenway Centre car park at the top of Doncaster Rd just before the roundabout or from the David Lloyd Sports centre entrance on Greystoke Avenue.
Gosford Rd bus stop on Greystoke Ave is served by the 2, 13 and 76 routes.
Falcondale Walk bus stop on Falcondale Rd is served by the number 1 bus route, but is a little bit further away.
